Martha Underwood can usually be found leading large teams of software engineers that create products to make life easier. A dreamer at heart, writing a children's book was always an aspiration. Her sons' love of Christmas inspired Emma's Elf. Martha writes stories to help young children explore diversity, self-esteem, and emotions. Martha lives in Birmingham, AL, known as the Magic City, with her husband and two sons.
