He is the editor of Karl Bodmer’s North American Prints (Nebraska, 2004), which was named a New York Times notable book. In that capacity he managed the journal Museum Studies and edited major exhibition catalogs including Matisse: Radical Invention, 1913–1917 and John Marin’s Watercolors: A Medium for Modernism. Jorge Daniel Veneciano is the director of the Sheldon Museum of Art.
