We are both Christians, but neither one of us had been faced with an enemy like cancer. As our friends and relatives prayed and we prayed, one miracle after another met our despair and my husband's physical struggles. He is still clear of the cancer and is limited to one or two checkups each year. His blood tests are normal, although he has become diabetic. Jerry has battled ear and eye problems, numbness in his fingers and toes and occasional pneumonias. But he has withstood them all. I want others to know there is hope and a God who can be trusted with the details of their lives. Cancer doesn't need to win.
