A resident of Lynchburg, Virginia, Davante Farmer's life has been a mixture of some good days, many bad days, and a good dose of hardship. But even when things seemed hopeless, the light of Jesus Christ shone through to his family with the help of his great-grandmother, whom he credits for teaching him what it means to honor God. With her love, encouragement, and inspiration, Davante earned his G.E.D., turned away from the evil that trapped him, and focused his mind, heart, and soul on the glorious grace of God. And while he is the first to admit he is an imperfect man and a sinner by nature, he is also blessed to be a vessel used by God to spread the Good News that is Jesus.
