New methods ozone therapy has been gaining a justified recognition in many countries of the world thanks to ozone disinfected effect and its capacity to transport and release oxygen into tissues. Ozone is the combination of three naturally occurring oxygen atoms. Ozone therapy is an alternative to outdated approaches in dentistry. The main feature suggests that ozone can be used in dentistry as a durable anti-microbial agent. Ozone has antimicrobial biosynthesis-enhancing effects. Ozone moves cellular and humoral immunity. Ozone use in dentistry can be made possible via ozone gas, ozonated water, sunflower oil, or ozonized olive. Ozone is used in periodontology, oral pathologies, endodontics, oral surgery, prosthodontics, orthodontics, and restorative dentistry. As a result of these studies performed, ozone therapy in dentistry should be considered as an assistance to conventional treatments.

Dr. Manjusha Rawtiya Dr. Manjusha Rawtiya, is professor in Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics, Narsinhbhai Patel Dental College and Hospital, Sankalchand Patel University Gujarat. She is a Member of International Institutional Review Board (IRB) Hongkong and editorial board member of 4 internationally peer reviewed journals. She is a Member of Indian endodontic society. Dr. Kailash Attur Dr. Kailash Attur is Professor and Head of the department of Conservatory dentistry & Endodontics at Narsinh Patel Dental Collage and Hospital, Visnagar, Gujarat. P.G. Guide and Ph.D Guide at Sakalchand Patel University, Visnagar, Gujarat, India. He is Executive member of GACDE. He was Executive member of IEC and IACDE. Dr. Kamal P Bagda Dr. Kamal P Bagda is Dean/Principal, Professor and Head of the department of Conservatory dentistry & Endodontics at Goenka Research Institute of Dental Science (GRIDS) Gandhinagar/Ahmedabad Gujarat.
