The stories that others share in this book offer hope and encouragement to look to and trust God; to remember that His loving hands not only control the universe-they reach out in love to help us. Although not everyone who shares their story in this book professes the same religion and/or believes the same as me, the God of Abraham created each of us. He loves us and tells us that we are to love one another. Because I am a Christian, however, I cannot compromise my belief that God sent His Only Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for our sins; that He lives today; that He is: "The way, the truth, and the life"-the only way to God. As others like me read the stories in Out of yOur Hands, I pray each one senses the presence of God's hand not only in this work birthed by love-but in their hearts.
