Scott B. Blanke is a retired Mayo Clinic surgeon. In his second career, he has turned to writing. He has published several flash fiction, a short western story, and a travel story, with photographs. His first novel Oscar Diggs, The Wizard of Oz, came out in December, by Black Rose Writing. Available on Amazon.Scott lives in La Crosse, Wisconsin with his author wife. He has three grown children and visits to them make up a large part of his life. Although that may be just an excuse to try out new restaurants and wines. When not writing, Scott enjoys gardening, specializing in exotic garlic.
