Lichen planus is a relatively common mucocutaneous lesion that affect mucosae &/or skin and is probably thought to be of multifactorial etiology. These lesions occur in adults and rarely in children. Females are most commonly affected. The clinical features of the lesions in children resemble those of OLP in adults. Generally the prognosis and efficacy of the treatment seems to be more favorable than in adults.
