Currently, the major concern of telecom service providers is to provide a very high speed connection to their customers. While the core network of operators is mainly based on IP/MPLS, it was imperative that the access network be as efficient, guaranteeing very high speed to end users. The Metropolitan Ethernet or Metro-Ethernet is a high-speed telecommunications network based on the Ethernet standard covering a large area. This technology has been developing since 2003, and is a suitable solution for access to the operator's network.It is in this context that this project is located, with the objective of proposing a monitoring solution to ensure high availability of the Metro Ethernet local loop of Tunisie Telecom.
