As the generation that took women out of the home and into the workplace, our Silent Generation needed more skills in setting boundaries, and taking up for ourselves. We were used to being told, "It's not 'Lady-like,' to speak 'out of turn." Many challenges were part of my journey, but there was a lot of fun and adventure, too. The time period shown in this book follows the caustic, 1960s, and moves beyond. As you read, you will hopefully recall some good memories of your own. Nostalgia is powerful!
