Autorenporträt
Born in Hamilton, Ohio, Leo and his family moved to Hialeah, Florida in 1959. He entered the seminary in 1965 and was ordained a Catholic priest in 1977. During his time in ministry he served as pastoral associate, teacher, councelor, diocesan communications director, and chaplain for sports teams both collegiate and professional. He resigned from active ministry in 2010. In 2005, Leo devoted all of his energies into the establishment of a facility for homeless youth known as Vita Nova. This organization serves the youth, ages 18-25, transitioning from foster care into independent living. His association with football allowed him to meet and befriend individuals of high net worth. Through their generosity and kindness, he was able to raise more than thirty million dollars to fund this dream. He has taught on every level of academia and seeks to expand the classroom to include as many as possible. His life experiences, formal education (M.Div., Master of Divinity; M.Th., Master of Theology; M.S.Ed., Master of Education), and thirst for knowledge compelled him to share with others what he has learned. Leo F. Armbrust is a notary public, a golfer, and open water diver, and a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. His hobbies include cooking, baking, gardening, travelling, reading, writing, and being an avid sports fan. Readers are welcome to learn more about Leo at his website: www.leoarmbrust.com
