Mony Nop (Officer M.N.O.P.) served the city of Livermore, California, as a police officer for seventeen years, where he was twice selected Officer of the Year. He now owns a successful real estate business (www.MonyNop.com) in Livermore, and is developing a youth leadership institute through the Mony Nop Foundation (www.MonyNopFoundation.org). His passion is teaching and working with children. Mony is also the cofounder and vice president of Tri-Valley Nonprofit Alliance (www.TVNPA.org), bringing local nonprofits together to collaborate and share resources. The alliance serves more than 300 nonprofit organizations, and is growing. He has learned that success for young adults is not about intellect, but about access, opportunities, and leadership. Mony is working tirelessly to provide that access and those opportunities. At the youth leadership institute, instructors will help open doors, change lives, empower youth, and grow amazing leaders. This has been Mony's lifelong dream, a dream that is now coming to life. For his community service work through the Mony Nop Foundation and Tri-Valley Nonprofit Alliance, he was awarded the 2014 and 2017 Good Neighbor Award from National Association of REALTORS(R) . . . one of only ten recipients selected annually out of 1.3 million members. In his spare time, Mony Nop likes to spend time with his family, play racquetball, and volunteer his time in the community.
