However from the interviews and observations undertaken in this research, for UZ students, it has more of disadvantages than expected results. Students are experiencing hard times in off-campus accommodation. As they face these challenges they devise different strategies to cope with these challenges. Most of these strategies are not effective. This books explores in these areas as mentioned above.

Eunice Mlambo is a graduate of Bsc Honours in Rural and Urban Planning (BscRUP) at the University of Zimbabwe. This piece of work was her final year dissertation and its her first publication.
