Odessa Cleveland started writing at the Watts Writer's Workshop/Theater under the auspices of Budd Shulberg. She continued to develop her writing craft with the Saturday Morning Literary Workshop with Marian Cole-Wellman, and she is currently a member of The Greater Los Angeles Writers Society.
