Their debut album, Rain Without End, was recorded in 1995 and released on Vic Records in 1997. In January 2010 Anders Nystrom, guitarist with Katatonia gave an interview with Guitarist magazine where he talked about a forthcoming October Tide album which featured Fred Norrman but not Jonas Renkse.
