Emily Marie has always been an avid reader with a dream of one day becoming an author. A former ballet dancer, she wrote her own children's books as a child and shared it excitedly with those closest to her. She lives with her family and her dog and cat, Nova and Mika, in British Columbia, Canada. (She would especially like to thank Mika for walking across her keyboard many times during the writing process and giving her a heart attack.)
