This is particularly desirable for these strategies can be used to control autoimmune responses without making the individual immunocompromised as is the case with several immunomodulatorydrugs currently used in clinical settings.

Dr. Rahul Kushwah is a research scientist at the McMaster Stem Cell and Cancer Research Institute. Dr. Kushwah completed his PhD from the Hospital for Sick Children / University of Toronto in Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiology. He has published numerous articles in medical journals and has presented his work at several international conferences.
