Dr. Rodney Harris earned a PhD in history from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, an MA in history from the University of Central Arkansas and a BA in political science from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Harris is currently the History and Political Science Department chair at Williams Baptist University in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas. He specializes in southern political and religious history--particularly how the two intersect.
