Take a break from politics, religion, media or wherever your passions may lie, to enjoy still images from some of the greatest filmed performances by women. Included are but only a few representative stills of what surely are thousands of renderings by women, who, by virtue of their talent, convinced us all to believe that, not only are they someone they're not, but will prove it in an intense way. Contained herein are images from many popular, and a few not so popular productions, though all are worth a look. And if you've seen the film(s), this compilation may make a second or even a third viewing seem like a good idea. On your journey, which spans about 80 years of filmmaking, enjoy our heroines, during their most intense moments, with the author's compliments.
