At that time, the abundance of natural fishes was very high. People from all classes used to catch fishes hugely. But failed, due to different environmental conditions: siltation and soil erosion in river basins; water pollution from industrial, agricultural and municipal wastes; construction of embankments for flood protection; injudicious and destructive fishing practices; outbreak of diseases; and loss of natural breeding grounds. The reduced carrying capacity and productivity of most of the aquatic environments have affected natural fish diversity. However, this book will provide the availability of different Natural fish species, fish diversity, their present scenarios in different markets, retail & wholesale marketing of natural fishes of the identified area, seasonal variation, livelihoodsof fish retailers and wholesalers' Natural fish marketing efficiencies, and limitations.

It's Sk Md. Saeef Ul Hoque Chishty graduated from Noakhali Science & Technology University obtaining B.Sc.( Hon's) in Fisheries under the Department of Fisheries and Marine Science.
