Cheryl Smith Benefield is a gifted teacher and minister whose calling is to the brokenhearted and disenfranchised, and her life experiences and strong faith have prepared her for ministry. She is a retired educator and former youth ministry leader who has a passion for mentoring young adults. A native Atlantan, Cheryl resides and worships in southwest Atlanta, Georgia. She is the mother of two young adults Edwin and Stefani, and teenager Nathan. Cheryl holds a B.A. in journalism from Ohio Wesleyan University and a M.Ed. from Georgia State University.
