Savithri Duggirala grew up in Eluru, and after having lived as an expat for 28 years, has now settled in Bangalore, India. In this first fictional novel, she has subtly conveyed the inherent traditional stubbornness in orthodox Andhra Hindu families and its influence mainly on women.
