The eldest child of a large, recomposed family, Sophie Santoromito Pierucci lives in southeastern France, land of sunshine and chirping cicadas. After high school, she got her registered nursing degree and enlisted in the French army. The sudden, unforeseen death of her uncle at the age of 55 left her determined to leave something behind for future generations. Writing became her outlet of choice. Although she is not a romantic per se, she is a real girly girl and likes pink, unicorns, sequins. She also enjoys painting, sculpture, sewing and... sports cars! She is also intrigued by American culture and is planning a coast-to-coast road trip as a belated honeymoon. Sophie is happily married and has two children-Leeloo (after the Fifth Element) and Calvin (after Snoop Dogg)-several fish, and a cat. My Stepbrother: A Sexual Revelation is her sophomore novel.
