After several trips to the ER, she was admitted and prepped for gall bladder surgery. She went through a series of problems resulting in a heart attack. She coded once, and then the hospital transferred her to a hospice care hospital, Seton, where she developed sepsis and died on March 25, 2011 after coding twice.
