Author Kristin Dickerson left her 15-year-career as a TV-journalist to join her husband, Peter, on a pilgrimage to some of the holiest places in the world. Their journey began in Spain with an ancient walk that's known for transformation-the Camino de Santiago. As they neared the final 100 miles, the call to capture her odyssey was made very clear. So, Kristin started writing and her testimony poured out of her. This book is the journal she kept on their 98-day pilgrimage across Spain, then Israel and India-visiting the sacred sites and also experiencing the love of Jesus, Buddha and Shiva. Along with detailing their travel adventures, local cuisine and the lessons learned from fellow pilgrims, Kristin also weaves in her personal journey back to God. She shares her transformation from depression, alcohol and drug use, insecurities in her marriage, and not being able to speak up for herself, to a place of peace, strength, and gratitude. Some of the stories she shares about her past struggles are not flattering, but as the Bob Dylan lyrics that kept coming to her on the Camino declared, "You've got no secrets to conceal."
