Marylin Trent, a certified biblical counselor, provides a victim's path to restoration through rehabilitation and forgiveness grounded in biblical scripture. My Heart Cried Enough leverages the author's life experiences as a domestic violence and abuse victim herself. She has extensive ministry involvement at homeless shelters, domestic violence shelters, private counseling with domestic violence and abuse victims, spiritual mentoring at eight prisons, crisis/trauma counseling at 911 in NYC, international missions, and inner-city missions. Certification and training include Sexual Abuse and Counseling Victims of Sexual Abuse, Three Steps to Healing, and Embracing Functional Outcomes and Treatments through Cross Country University, Nashville, Tennessee, coursework in theology through Christian Life School of Theology, Columbus, Georgia, training for prison ministry through the Department of Corrections and Certified Prison Mentor Training, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Her social services training was through the Leading Age of Oklahoma. Marylin has a bachelor's degree from SWOSU in Piano Pedagogy, is the Founder/President of Embracing Restoration Ministries, as well as a licensed ordained minister through the state of Oklahoma.
