Rize Shinba is a Japanese manga artist better known for her boys' love works. Other Shinba works in English include My Bad!, Juicy Cider, and Intriguing Secrets. Shinba is also a boys' love light novel illustrator. Pentabu is the owner of the actual blog from which the My Girlfriend's a Geek novel series is compiled, making him one of the protagonists in the story.
