Autorenporträt
Barbara Schindelhauer ist Mutter von zwei Kindern. Sie setzt sich für frühe Bildung mit Kinderaugen ein und sieht in Mathematik eine Chance für Bildungsgerechtigkeit. Sie ist Co-Autorin des Erziehungswissenschaftlers Dr. Gerhard Friedrich, der das Zahlenland Konzept in einem viel beachteten Forschungsprojekt entwickelte. Seit 2004 unterstützt sie mit Fortbildungen und Umsetzungshilfen pädagogische Fachkräfte im In- und Ausland. Ihr Wirkungskreis hat sich auf internationale Konferenzen und Netzwerke ausgeweitet. So lernte sie auch Mark Hansen kennen, mit dem sie 2022 ihr erstes Kinderbilderbuch My Garden is a Square schrieb, das TBR Books in mehreren Sprachen herausbringt.
