Joey Acker is the illustrator and co-author of My P.E. Teacher is a Ninja, My Teacher is an Elf, and My Counselor is a Princess. With aspirations of becoming an animator as a child, Joey later discovered his love of teaching children through martial arts. He holds a B.S. in Kinesiology and M.Ed in Educational Administration, but finds his enjoyment and purpose in teaching Health and Physical Education to his wonderful students of 11 years.
