Ireland native, Deirdre Gogarty, moved to the United States to pursue a boxing career. She's a graphic artist and coach at Ragin' Cajun Boxing Club. She lives with her husband near Lafayette, Louisiana. Long-time contributor to e-media guru Jane Friedman's blog, Darrelyn Saloom also writes online for Tweetspeak Poetry. She has three grown sons and lives on a horse farm with her husband in Lafayette, Louisiana.
