But, the software fuse the Multi-parametric MRI with ultrasound images is still expensive for routine clinical practice. Furthermore, studies have confirmed that this technology can detect more clinically significant cancer but can also miss high-grade cancer to some extent. Before adopting the technology it is necessary to confirm the accuracy of multi-parametric MRI, so that prostate cancer can be reliably diagnosed characterised and by targeted biopsy (MRI guided).
