This book surveys and analyses data relating to Muslim-Christian relations that includes government policy documents, Religious Education syllabi, mission statements in the areas of education, policing, chaplaincy across universities, prisons and the National Health Service. The book concludes that interfaith bodies have failed to establish a 'voice' in contemporary social and political dialogue that has been an agent for change in terms of Muslim-Christian relations at community and grass roots level.
Autorenporträt
The author is holding an assistant professorial post at KAU, Jeddah. His PhD in the specific area of ¿Muslim-Christian Relations¿. During his doctoral research, he gained considerable practical experience in the UK while working as an Imam and Assistant Muslim Student Advisor at Swansea University; and as a member of the Swansea University Mosque.
