This research is mainly focused on the study of the prevalence of musculoskeletal symptomatology in the different anatomical regions of the human body, being the main ergonomic risk factor the jobs that involve manual handling of loads, having as object of study the workers of an automotive company in Mexico. The idea of carrying out this research arose because in our country the main pathologies in occupational medicine are of the musculoskeletal type caused by poor adherence to the processes of carrying out jobs involving manual handling of loads, currently representing a real health problem in occupational medicine. Based on the statistics of the Mexican Institute of Social Security it is known that the main occupational diseases with affection of the musculoskeletal system, associated with the risk factor studied, are dorsopathies, enthesopathies and shoulder injuries, so it is essential in the face of this reality to have tools to identify and prevent these disorders in the automotive manufacturing industry.
