Patrick M. Carr lives in a suburb of Kansas City with his wife, Kate and three kids - Patrick, Maggie, and Teddy. After graduating from Benedictine College, in Atchison, Kansas, he went to work for Hallmark Cards, where he's continued to work for the past two decades, in both the United States and Canada. In addition to writing Mr. Bear's Big Dream - Overcoming Life's Challenges Through Determination and Perseverance, Patrick published his first book, Courage for Happiness - 210 Ideas for an Extraordinary Life, in 2009.
