Deborah C. Aalbers spent many years working with young children. She thinks the most beautiful sound is a child's laughter, especially that of her two young grandsons.She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto, and an Ontario Teacher's Certificate and Diploma in Child Study from Toronto's Institute of Child Study. During her career, Deborah taught Kindergarten-Grade One in Oakville, Ontario, was an Early Childhood Educator in Baden-Soellingen, Germany, and an Infant-Toddler Care Specialist in Chilliwack, British Columbia.Deborah's ultimate joy lies in cherished moments with family. However, she also delights in reading, walking, travelling, gardening, enjoying music and art, exploring museums, and cheering on her Toronto Blue Jays. Born and raised in beautiful Burlington, Ontario, Deborah now lives on the Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia with her husband and three pets: an opinionated, but loveable, Australian Shepherd and two adorable, mischievous black cats.
