The goats are maintained on a semi-intensive management and found that it is mixed with the local goat of different colour. The herd size with a farmer varied from 2 to 10. The population of this breed is estimated to be 5000. The Molai goat is moderate in size with musculature. The colour of the animal is mostly white, sometimes varies from complete white to light brown shades. All goats have a black coloured muzzle with irregular black patches.
