Dr Usman M. Abubakar was born in Wukari, Taraba State, Nigeria.He was admitted to the Federal University of Technology Yola in 1982 which was later merged to University of Maiduguri in 1984 where he obtained B.Sc.(1988);M.Sc.(1992)and Ph.D (2004) in Food Science & Technology.Dr Usman teaches Food Engineering in the University of Maiduguri
