The second one was based on the LXXLL motif to disrupt interactions between transcription factors and coactivators.

Altaf A Dar is currently working on identifying biomarkers involved in melanoma progression and metastasis at CPMC, San Francisco, CA. Previously Dr. Dar worked on gastric cancer at Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN. Dr. Dar earned his PhD from Friedrich Schiller University, Jena Germany, where he worked on protein-protein interactions.
