One of such proposed scheme is pilot agent based route optimization technique that reduces the hand off delay efficiently. This book also enlightens on several Micro-mobility and hierarchical Mobile IP based (HMIP) based mobility management schemes and presents a comparative analysis of those protocols. A new technique THMIP(Three level Hierarchical Mobile IP) has been presented as an efficient mobility management scheme.
