Originally from Yorkshire, the author has enjoyed living in the Lake District since 2008, with her fiancé Bob and German Shepherds Misty and Laney. She has enjoyed fell-walking all of her life, exploring everywhere from the Peak District to the West Highlands, The North Yorkshire Moors to the Yorkshire Dales, and of course, the Lake District!
