Melissa H. Sitts is a children's book author bases her stories on teaching children life lessons. "Lily Learns an Important Lesson", "Missy the Angry Roach", and "Maxine the Super Vaccine" are the first three life lesson books she has written. When Melissa was little, she always dreamed of being an elementary school teacher, but chose a different career path. Her love for teaching, poetry and children is what inspired Melissa to write children's books. Melissa believes that one of the best ways to teach a child about life lessons is through a fun and educational story.
