According to this approach direct composite restoration ispreferred for minimally destructed teeth (with 25% structural loss) , indirect restorationlike onlays ad overlays are prefer for moderately destructed teeth(with 50% structuralloss) and Endocrown or fiber post and core is preferred for severely destructed teeth(withmore than 50% structural loss).For replacement of missing tooth, all ceramic resinbonded FPD or Fibre reinforced Composite Fixed dental prosthesis are preferredtreatment options. Inlay retained fixed dental prosthesis can be used as long termprovisional prosthesis. With the major advantage of preserving maximum tooth structure,such restorations also preserves the periodontium by remaining above the gingiva.
