Kaushik Roy is Guru Nanak Chair Professor in the Department of History, Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India and a Global Fellow at Peace Research Institute Oslo (PRIO), Norway. Roy specialises on global military history. He has published many books and chapters in edited volumes and has articles in several peer-reviewed journals.
