Dr. E.T. Fox is an historian with a wide range of interests and a specialism in the 'golden age' of piracy of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, which he has been studying for the last 25 years or so. He is a regular contributor to TV documentaries, most recently including the popular Netflix series, The Lost Pirate Kingdom, and is the author and editor of numerous books on the subject, including Pirates In Their Own Words, volume 1.
