Produktbeschreibung
Microelectronics for the Internet of Things provides a systematic evaluation and analysis of microelectronics tailored for the Internet of Things (IoT). It offers a broad, detailed, and realistic view on design principles, and gives proven techniques that are essential to success in developing microelectronic products for IoT applications in a range of different industries.

Through an array of step-by-step tutorials and intuitive explanations, this book bridges the key challenges in designing microelectronics for IoT and corresponding best-practice resolutions. Four real-world examples are presented in detail to demonstrate how to design, prototype, and manufacture microelectronic products for various IoT applications across multiple industries. The book concludes with an outlook on the future development of microelectronics for the Internet of Things.

Also discussed are various approaches for realizing minimum-intrusive embedded devices for biomedical uses, and the ongoing or pending convergences of wired and wireless standards in the field of IoT, as well as addressing interoperability challenges, human-factor problems, design-for-test, and sustainability issues.

Provides the first systematic evaluation and analysis of microelectronics tailored for the Internet of Things (IoT)
Provides step-by-step tutorials which emphasize practical design rules and proven techniques with minimal mathematics
Features an accompanying website that includes C++ and C sharp source-code files to supplement the examples in the book
Discusses approaches for realizing minimum-intrusive embedded devices for biomedical uses, and the ongoing or pending convergences of wired and wireless standards in the field of IoT
