Produktbeschreibung
This book presents the hardware development of microcontroller based controller for three phase induction motors using the dsPIC Microchip Controller. The need for energy conservation is increasing the requirements for saving the electrical energy. Improving efficiency in electrical appliances, particularly electric drives are important, mainly for economic saving and reduction of environmental pollution and global warming. Hence, there is a need to operate the motor at higher efficiency for energy saving and this is achieved by proper selection of the flux by operating the motor in V/F closed loop operation with minimum hardware. These explanations for the development of a digital signal controller for a 1HP, 3-phase, and 415V, 50 Hz Induction Motor in which the hardware and the complexity of the controller are very much reduced and an attempt is made to increase the efficiency are explained. The system includes the power circuit and a control circuit.
