Willie "Gene" Williams Jr. is a prior service US Army sergeant who served two tours in Iraq, including the war in 2003. He is a Newport News, Virginia, native; a father of fi ve, and is currently working on his second novel. He is a graduate of Ashford University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations and Marketing and has traveled and worked in thirteen countries. During his travels, he has studied various cultures, customs, lifestyles, and religions. Those travels have enlightened him in numerous areas of life that not only helped him grow mentally and spiritually but also inspired him to write his first novel, Mental Clutches. He lives in Texas.
