Peter Aggleton is Professor in Education and Health in the Centre for Social Research in Health at UNSW Australia. He holds visiting professorial positions at the Institute of Education, University of London and at the University of Sussex, UK. He is the editor-in-chief of three international peer reviewed journals: Culture, Health & Sexuality (published by Routledge) Health Education Journal (published by Sage) and Sex Education (published by Routledge). Richard Parker is Professor of Sociomedical Sciences and Anthropology and Director of the Center for the Study of Culture, Politics and Health at Columbia University, where he is also a member of the Committee on Global Thought. He is the editor-in-chief of the international peer reviewed journal Global Public Health, and a Founding Editor of the journal Culture, Health and Sexuality. His recent publications include the Routledge Handbook of Sexuality, Health and Rights (co-edited with Peter Aggleton and published by Routledge in 2010) and Structural Approaches in Public Health (co-edited with Marni Sommer and published by Routledge in 2013).
