However, many national research institutes such as National Botanical Research Institute (NBRI), Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (CIMAP), Directorate of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (DMAP) along with Agricultural Universities and traditional universities are working on the same aspect. But still in comparison with Allopathic medicines, traditional medicine is still not as successful; although literature showed their significance since ancient times of Vedas. Systematic literature regarding utility and cultivation of medicinal plants is not easily available. This book will be highly useful for researchers and students of botany, horticulture, pharmacy, ayurveda and agriculture.
