Seine Forschungsgebiete sind mechanische Schwingungen, Verbundwerkstoffe und die Modellierung des Reibrührschweißens. Er hat 25 Artikel in internationalen und nationalen Fachzeitschriften verfasst. Er hat 5 Bücher veröffentlicht, 2 internationale Konferenzen und 4 Workshops organisiert.
